CONTROL & INSTRUMENTATION Graduate Research Lab
The control lab for graduate research is an extension of the existing undergraduate control lab. It is fully equipped with up-to-date equipment and trainers to help facilitate learning. It is noteworthy that the control lab II is air-conditioned providing a conducive and perfect environment for learning.
In this lab, real life simulation of models are carried out. Also, demonstration and simulation of various software and applications are carried out. The lab has a capacity of twenty (20) students per teaching class.
The lab is used for the following teaching, research and projects amongst others.
Equipment Summary:
· 10 Complete Desktop systems (Running Microsoft Windows 7)
· 2 Desktop computers with Motion controller DSP PCI Board Installed.
· 1 3DOF Helicopter simulator (1),
· 1 DC servo motor trainer (1),
· Interactive board and Projector
